There’s something about the technicality of a micro-rig—where every gram of weight and every millimeter of clearance actually matters—that hooked me immediately.
Before SOLIDRIGS, I was deep into the 3D printing world. I picked up my first printer and started experimenting with custom crawler bodies, eventually opening an Etsy shop. Seeing people actually run the prints on their rigs was a wake-up call. It made me realize that this hobby is full of builders who want more than just "out of the box" performance. I wanted to move beyond just aesthetic prints and start engineering hardware for the micro-crawlers.
I’m a single owner running this entire operation, and my goal is simple: I want to make crawling better. I was tired of "upgrades" that looked cool but failed the moment you hit a vertical line or a technical side-hill. I started SOLIDRIGS to build the gear I actually wanted to run on my own rigs.
For me, it’s about growing the hobby and making the crawl more fun. Whether you’re building an SCX24 or a TRX-4M, you should have access to parts that are actually trail-tested by someone who understands the physics behind the movement.
SOLIDRIGS wouldn't exist without the support I received back when I was just printing on Etsy. To the people who took a chance on my Etsy and shared their builds with me—thank you. You’re the reason I decided to take this seriously and move into pro-grade hardware. This brand is about the pursuit of a better line and a more capable build, but more importantly, it’s about the people who make this hobby what it is. I still spend plenty of time at the table getting inspiration, but my favorite part of the job is seeing what you all create with them.
Thanks for being part of the journey and for letting me help build the future of this community. Let’s keep pushing the limits.
